Program Description
Marketing involves the strategic activities organizations undertake to understand and serve customer needs. This program emphasizes practical, hands-on experience, combining foundational marketing knowledge with real-world applications. Students will gain the skills required to develop, promote, and distribute ideas, goods, and services to achieve both individual and organizational goals. Key areas of study include marketing research, consumer behavior, and branding, from product conception through pricing, promotion, and distribution. A hallmark of the program is its focus on applied learning through real-world projects and case studies, which allow students to collaborate and develop marketing plans. Additionally, students will explore modern marketing technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and digital tools, ensuring they are well-prepared for today’s fast-paced, tech-driven marketing environment.

Program Objectives
Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to:
- Conduct marketing research and analyze consumer behavior to inform product or service development and market strategies.
- Design and implement Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) plans that effectively promote a company’s brand and product/service offerings across traditional and digital media channels.
- Collaborate with local businesses to execute applied marketing strategies, implement effective sales and customer service techniques, communicate marketing concepts and results clearly and effectively via written reports and oral presentations, and build professional portfolios aligned with industry standards.
- Leverage marketing technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics tools, to personalize campaigns, enhance customer experiences, optimize performance, and improve decision-making in marketing strategies.
Obtaining the Degree
To earn the Associate of Applied Science degree, students must:
- Matriculate into the program.
- Satisfactorily complete all degree requirements, including General Education and Major Requirements.
