General Chemistry I is designed to prepare students for more advanced courses in chemistry and science. This course focuses on the study of the properties of matter and chemical transformations. Topics include measurement, chemical nomenclature, chemical reactions and stoichiometry, atomic theory, molecular structure, thermochemistry, and gas laws.
