Summer
This course is a credit-worthy work opportunity for students to gain experience in their major areas of study by strengthening and expanding their classroom theoretical knowledge through practical application. This course provides the Medical Assisting Technology student with reality training in the field of health care with an emphasis on medical office skills and clinical practice. Students will be mentored by an experienced supervisor in the agency setting. Satisfactory completion of this experience is required for the completion of the diploma in Medical Assisting Technology.
