HSC 110: Medical Terminology and Body Systems for the Patient Support Provider

This course introduces the student to medical terminology and human anatomy and physiology.   Body systems and related terminology are discussed at a primary learning level.  Related disease processes, diagnostic procedures, therapeutic measures, and appropriate abbreviations and acronyms are included.  This is a basic foundational course for students entering the field of health care, both clinical and administrative.

Health Science students must earn a "C" or higher in all HSC courses in order to graduate from their respective programs.
