HON 101: Honors Seminar

This course is a one credit course designed specifically for Honors College students to present a multitude of scholarly issues. This course will also give an opportunity to strengthen writing, research and public speaking skills. The course will cover specific subject matter in various current topics in a number of fields not ordinarily covered in the existing curricula. Students will work closely with an honors advisor and/or honors faculty to prepare for the HON 200 – Honors Capstone Course.

HON 200: Honors Capstone

As Needed 
Honors College students are required to complete an Honors Capstone Project. The selected project will demonstrate mastery of a discipline and achievement of the objectives of the Honors Program. This paper topic is of his or her choice, but subjected to the instructor’s approval and will be under the supervision of a faculty member. By the end of the seminar students will be able to clearly articulate their research argument in a well-written paper and oral presentation during the Honors Thesis Defense.
