CHM 117: Chemistry for Health Professions Lab

This is a semester long introduction to chemistry applications related to health professions. Students will experience and apply the material learned in lecture through experimentation and application of the scientific method to the following topic areas. Course topics will include lab safety, lab equipment, proper techniques and data collection, compound formation and structure, stoichiometry, gases, acids, bases, and buffers, and major biomolecules.
